Selva Raghavan's dream Project has released yesterday. The film got good Response in Kollywood and Mixed Talk in Tollywood. Let's read my Review to know how the Movie is.
Story:
The story is about a Parallel love story in Two worlds. Ramya (Anushka) is a Doctor and Madhu Balakrishna (Arya) is a Professor in Earth. Ramya proposes Madhu for Marriage. Madhu refuses politely due to his family situations. Later, He realizes and Proposes Ramya. But, Ramya already agrees for an Arranged Marriage. Later, He follows her and She accepts her later due to some circumstances. One day, Accidentally Ramya dies and Madhu damages Psychologically.
The same story happens with different scenes in the Other world. Varna (Anushka) is a courage lady and Mahendra (Arya) is a Warrior. In this World, Ladies will be treated as Dolls and Slaves and it's a Loveless World. So, Mahendra tries to Enjoy her. But, She strikers him. Later, They tries to join in the King's army. But, Both will fails. During this, The King traps Varna to Enjoy. Mahindra saves her and Both will be married with King's force. But, Varna herself, Kills. Interval!
In the second half, Mahendra meets Madhu Balakrishna by the Local Nature God (Amma). Madhu and Mahendra sees themselves and confuses. Madhu thinks that, There is alive like him. and Where is a Person like Ramya? He sees Varna and feels neutral because, He feels good because he sees his Ramya and he feels bad because she is already married by Mahendra. Later, Amma and Mahendra gets kidnapped by Another King. Varna along with Madhu goes to there to save Mahendra and Amma. Mahendra releases Amma from there and Finally, A First love blows up in their World. Madhu kills by the Nature God and He goes to Another World and he meets another Maiden Anushka there. Story ends!

What the Director want to Show (What I Understood)?
Varna is the Dream project of Selva Raghavan. He used Two worlds to show a Parallel love story in a Love-full world (Earth) and a Loveless world (Other world). How the People lives if There is no Love and and How a Person from Earth is the Reason for the First love in the Loveless world is the Story. To do this, He killed Ramya in the First half and After blowing up the First love, After doing the Job given by Amma, He reached his Ramya :)
Positive Aspects:
- Selva Raghavan chosen a Different and very creative plot and Executed perfectly. Selva Raghavan's taking and Narration style is good.
- The Ultra Rich Production values are Visual feast for Audience.
- Harris Jayraj's Perfect and Cool music.
- Each frame shot at Beautiful locations. Mind blowing Visual Effects.
- Good comedy executed as per the Plot.
- Anushka and Arya acted perfectly according to their roles.
Negative Aspects:
- Slow Pace.
- Not an Useful story to People. Just for a Thrill.
- Few scenes are Wasted in the 2nd half.
Verdict:
Selva Raghavan chosen a very Creative plot. He directed his Dream project perfectly and Successful in the Execution. If you are a Commercial movie Lover, Never watch this movie. But, If you are a Creative movies liker, Don't miss this film. If you liked Avatar, You'll love Varna (Irandam Ulagam).
